The 1994-95 Michigan State Hockey Team had a notable season under the guidance of Head Coach Ron Mason. The team ended the season with an overall record of 25 wins, 12 losses, and 3 ties. In the Central Collegiate Hockey Association (CCHA), they secured a third-place finish with a record of 17 wins, 7 losses, and 3 ties.

Throughout the season, Michigan State played several significant games. They opened with a victory against Bowling Green on October 15, winning 6-3. Other highlights included two victories over Illinois-Chicago in late October and early November. However, the team faced tough competition from rivals such as Michigan and Lake Superior State.

The team participated in various tournaments during the season. Notably, they competed in the College Hockey Showcase at the Civic Center in St. Paul, Minnesota, and took part in the Great Lakes Invitational at Joe Louis Arena.

Assistant Coaches Tom Newton and Dave McCauliffe supported Head Coach Ron Mason throughout this competitive season. Players like Mike Buzak, Rem Murray, Steve Guolla, Dean Sylvester, and Anson Carter contributed to the team's efforts both on and off the ice.

Michigan State's journey through the CCHA Tournament saw them achieve multiple victories before eventually falling to Lake Superior State on March 19. Their NCAA West Regional campaign concluded with a loss to Wisconsin on March 24.
