Sophomore forward Coen Carr led Michigan State to victory over Florida Atlantic with a career-high 17 points and eight rebounds. The Spartans, ranked No. 20/19, won the game 83-68 at the Breslin Center.

Other notable performances included redshirt freshman guard Jeremy Fears Jr., who scored 13 points and provided eight assists. Senior guard Jaden Akins also contributed 13 points and five rebounds, while senior forward Frankie Fidler added 10 points. Junior forward Jaxon Kohler stood out with six points and a game-high of 12 rebounds.

Michigan State's overall record improved to 10-2, while Florida Atlantic fell to 7-6.

The Spartans held a significant lead throughout the game, going into halftime with a score of 42-29. Despite efforts from Florida Atlantic players Tre Carroll and Matas Vokietaitis, Michigan State maintained control and extended their lead to as much as 18 points in the second half.

Key statistics from the game include Michigan State shooting 38.1 percent from three-point range and out-rebounding FAU by a margin of 48-26. The team also achieved a high assist rate, with assists on nearly two-thirds of their field goals.
