Community members are reminded that consumer fireworks can be used on personal property in the City of East Lansing June 29-July 4 from 11 a.m.-11:45 p.m. for Independence Day. Igniting fireworks while intoxicated is illegal and igniting fireworks outside of permitted times could result in a civil infraction and fines.
