Michigan State University's athletic teams have a busy schedule from February 4 to February 10, with various competitions across multiple sports.

The university's hockey team, ranked No. 2, will face off against No. 13 Michigan twice this week. The first game is on Friday at Munn Ice Arena, where Michigan State previously won 4-1 on January 18. The second game takes place on Saturday at Detroit's Little Caesars Arena for the "Duel in the D" event.

In men's basketball, No. 9 Michigan State concludes its west coast tour with a game against UCLA on Tuesday night. This marks their first encounter as conference rivals and their eighth meeting since the 2003-04 season. On Saturday, the Spartans will host Oregon in East Lansing.

The women's basketball team, ranked No. 20, will celebrate National Girls & Women in Sports Day by hosting Michigan on Sunday afternoon. Earlier this year, Michigan State defeated Michigan with a score of 88-58 in Ann Arbor.

Michigan State's women's golf team is participating in the Puerto Rico Classic at Grand Reserve Golf Club in Rio Grande and currently stands tied for seventh after two rounds among a competitive field.

The softball season kicks off for Michigan State in Tucson, Arizona. They are scheduled to play two games against No. 16 Arizona on Thursday and another match against No. 11 Alabama on Friday before facing Western Michigan twice over the weekend.

Gymnastics sees No. 5 Michigan State back home to compete against No. 16 Minnesota as part of National Girls & Women in Sports Day celebrations on Saturday evening.

Wrestling has two Big Ten duels away from home this weekend; they will face Northwestern on Friday and Wisconsin on Sunday following last week's victory over Clarion.

Lastly, track and field athletes from MSU are set to participate again at the University of Michigan during the indoor season's third installment of the Michigan Invitational this Saturday.
