Michigan State University's baseball team has announced its 2024 season award winners. The awards, primarily voted on by the players, recognize individual achievements throughout the season.

Senior outfielder Jack Frank received both the John Kobs Most Valuable Player Award and the Kirk Gibson Co-Offensive Player of the Year Award. This marks the sixth consecutive year that a player has won both awards. Frank shared the offensive honor with senior outfielder Greg Ziegler, who also earned the Steve Garvey Most Improved Player Award.

Sophomore pitcher Joseph Dzierwa was named the Robin Roberts Most Valuable Pitcher. Senior infielder Dillon Kark took home two awards: the Danny Litwhiler Defensive Player of the Year and The Jerry Sutton Student-Athlete Award. Junior pitcher Dominic Pianto was recognized with the Craig Hendricks Spartan Spirit Award.

Frank, from Strongsville, Ohio, was also honored as a First Team All-Big Ten player and included in the 64Analytics All-American Right Fielder list. He led several statistical categories in Big Ten games and overall play. His performance included tying for seventh in doubles within all games played.

Ziegler, hailing from Joliet, Illinois, had an impressive season despite missing early games due to injury. He ranked second on his team in batting average and ended his season with an 11-game hitting streak.

Dzierwa, from Haskins, Ohio, finished second in innings pitched and strikeouts within Big Ten play. His 91 strikeouts placed him eighth on Michigan State's single-season Top 10 strikeouts list.

Kark, from White Lake, Michigan, led his team in RBIs while sharing top honors for doubles alongside Frank. Kark is expected to receive multiple academic honors during his time at MSU.

Pianto played a crucial role during coach Mark Van Ameyde's absence due to medical reasons by supporting and guiding fellow pitchers.

The Spartans concluded their season with a victory over Nebraska but narrowly missed qualifying for the Big Ten Tournament.
