On Monday, March 24, former Pewamo-Westphalia Junior Senior High School standout Ellie Droste’s current collegiate team the Grand Valley State Lakers won 60-32 against the Gannon Golden Knights in the NCAA Division II Basketball Championship Tournament.

Hosted in UPMC Cooper Fieldhouse, this was the first game against the Gannon Golden Knights during the championship.

Ellie Droste’s hometown is Westphalia and game position is guard.
