Graduate guard/forward Julia Ayrault has been included in the 2024 Ann Meyers Drysdale Award Midseason Watch List, according to an announcement by the U.S. Basketball Writers Association. Ayrault is among 50 players selected for this list.

Representing the Big Ten, Ayrault joins six other players: Destiny Adams from Rutgers, Lauren Betts from UCLA, Jaloni Cambridge and Cotie McMahon from Ohio State, Kaylene Smikle from Maryland, and JuJu Watkins from USC.

Ayrault leads her team in scoring with an average of 16.0 points per game and 7.9 rebounds per game. She ranks 11th in scoring and 12th in rebounding within the Big Ten conference. Additionally, she holds seventh place in blocks with an average of 1.52 per game. This season, she has started in 21 out of 22 games for the Spartans.

The Ann Meyers Drysdale Award honors the women's national player of the year as chosen by the USBWA. The award was named after legendary UCLA guard Ann Meyers Drysdale and was first presented during the 1987-88 season; it received its current name in the 2011-12 season.

The Spartans, ranked No. 20, are scheduled to play against Michigan on Sunday, February 9th. The match will be broadcast on FS1 at 2 p.m.
