Michigan State's Angelo Grose, a seasoned defensive back, is set to participate in the Tropical Bowl on January 19 in Daytona Beach, Florida. The event, an annual collegiate all-star game, attracts players nationwide and provides exposure to NFL scouts.

Grose has been a key player for Michigan State over five seasons from 2020 to 2024. He appeared in 52 games, starting 45 times across various positions including nickelback and safety. His career stats include 281 tackles, 11.5 tackles for loss, four interceptions, and 20 pass break-ups.

In his final season with the Spartans, Grose achieved notable performance with 50 tackles and a personal best of 3.5 tackles for loss. He also made two pass break-ups and one interception during the year. Notably, he recorded ten tackles against Rutgers on Senior Day.

Starting as a true freshman in 2020, Grose played seven games with four starts. By his sophomore year in 2021, he had increased his impact significantly with a career-high of 83 tackles as Michigan State achieved an impressive season record of 11-2.

Grose continued to be a defensive asset throughout subsequent seasons with consistent performances leading up to his graduation from Michigan State in May 2024 with a degree in interdisciplinary studies in social science.
