Vuk Radjenovic named on Big Ten Men’s Tennis Player to Watch List

Michigan State University freshman Vuk Radjenovic has been recognized on the Big Ten Men's Tennis Player to Watch List for the spring 2025 season. The announcement was made by the conference office on Friday.

Radjenovic, originally from Belgrade, Serbia, joined the Michigan State Spartans at the semester break after signing with the university in December. He has competed in notable junior tournaments such as Wimbledon and the Junior French Open in 2023. At 19 years old, he holds an ITA Junior career-high ranking of No. 57 and ATP rankings of 787 in singles and 789 in doubles.

As a new addition to Michigan State's roster, Radjenovic is ranked as the third-highest incoming freshman according to ATP rankings. His achievements include winning his first professional title at the ITF M15 Belgrade during summer 2024 and reaching the semifinals at ITF M15 Kursumlijska Banja.

The Michigan State men's tennis team is ranked No. 23 in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Men's Tennis Preseason Team Rankings for a second consecutive season. They are set to begin their spring schedule on January 17 with a match against No. 7 Kentucky at the MSU Indoor Tennis Center.

The list of players to watch includes Kenta Miyoshi from Illinois, Facundo Yunis from Indiana, Bjorn Swenson from Michigan, Calvin Mueller from Nebraska, Saiprakash Goli from Northwestern, Jack Anthrop from Ohio State, Clement Lemire from Oregon, Loren Byers from Penn State, Aleksa Krivokapic from Purdue, Spencer Johnson from UCLA, Peter Makk from USC, Cesar Bouchelaghem from Washington, and Michael Minasyan from Wisconsin.
