Michigan State Head Coach Robyn Fralick expressed satisfaction with her team's performance in a recent game against Purdue, marking the beginning of 2025 on a positive note. In her opening statement, Fralick acknowledged the support from fans and highlighted the team's strong first-half performance. "Our fans were amazing, I am so thankful for the way they are continuing to show up and support our team," she said.

Fralick noted the team's offensive efforts despite struggles with three-point shooting. "To win by 20 and to go 1 for 16 from three, I feel encouraged by that because we got a bunch of good shots," she remarked. However, she expressed some disappointment with their defensive effort in the second half.

Discussing their defensive strategy, Fralick emphasized the importance of maintaining speed and pressure throughout the game. She explained, "We have a good bench and we have a lot of kids who can go in and sustain our speed, sustain our defensive pressure."

The coach also commented on Ines Sotelo's first start as a freshman, explaining that lineup decisions are made carefully with analytics and team dynamics in mind. "We felt like it was a decision that was best for the team," Fralick stated.

Jocelyn's significant contribution to the game was also highlighted by Fralick. She praised Jocelyn's physical presence on the court, noting her 11 rebounds and eight drawn fouls as key elements of her performance.
