Michigan State University has announced that three of its volleyball players have been named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team. Senior Julia Bishop, senior Aliyah Moore, and sophomore Zuzanna Kulig received the honors, marking a significant achievement for the team. This is Bishop's third time receiving this accolade.

The Spartans' volleyball program has now had 30 student-athletes earn Academic All-District honors throughout its history. To qualify for this recognition, athletes must have played in either 90% of sets or started in 66% of matches while maintaining a minimum GPA of 3.50 on a 4.0 scale. They must also be at least sophomores academically.

Julia Bishop concludes her tenure with Michigan State as one of only five three-time team captains in the program's history and is noted as the first three-time Academic All-District honoree from the university, although the award's voting process was revised in 2022. Over her four seasons, she recorded 1,761 assists, 572 digs, 131 kills, and 56 service aces.

Aliyah Moore receives her first Academic All-District honor after being recognized as a B1G Distinguished Scholar in 2023. Her Spartan career ended this season with a record of 665 kills, 153 digs, and 144 total blocks.

Zuzanna Kulig also earns her first Academic All-District recognition following an outstanding blocking performance during the 2024 season. She averaged 1.41 blocks per set, ranking her No.15 nationally and securing the seventh-best single-season mark by a Spartan player. Additionally, Kulig achieved a .348 hitting percentage in her second season at MSU, tying for the ninth-best single-season hitting percentage at the university.
