The Big Ten Conference has released the 2025 football schedule, with Michigan State University (MSU) set to play three non-conference games at home. The Spartans will open their season against Western Michigan on August 30, followed by Boston College on September 6 and Youngstown State on September 13. These dates have been updated from previous announcements.
Michigan State's conference play begins with two away games, starting with USC on September 20 and Nebraska on October 4 after a bye week. MSU will then host UCLA in East Lansing on October 11, marking the first meeting between the schools since 1974.
Following this, MSU travels to Indiana for a game on October 18 before returning home to face rival Michigan on October 25. In November, the Spartans will visit Minnesota on November 1 and take a second bye week on November 8. Their final three games include hosting Penn State on November 15, traveling to Iowa on November 22, and concluding the regular season against Maryland at home on November 29.
