Michigan State University has announced a series of promotions for its upcoming wrestling meets. The events, scheduled to take place at Jenison Fieldhouse, will feature various themes and activities designed to engage different segments of the community.
On Sunday, January 12, attendees can enjoy the "Spartan Salute," which offers complimentary admission to current and veteran military personnel, first responders, educators, and healthcare workers. Additionally, fans have the opportunity to participate in the "Four Seats, Four Treats" promotion by purchasing a minimum of four general admission tickets and receiving four Melting Moments Ice Cream Cookie Sandwiches for $32. This offer is available only through advance orders.
The following week on Sunday, January 19, Michigan State Wrestling will host "Jr. Spartans Day," which includes pre- and post-dual activities specifically for Jr Spartans Members. After the meet against Buffalo, members of the wrestling team will be available for autographs with team posters provided for signing. There is also an offer for free entry to the dual with proof of a ticket from that day's Michigan State Men's Basketball game.
Friday night on January 24 is designated as "Student Section Night," inviting all MSU students to experience what Michigan State Wrestling has to offer while earning triple points on Spartan Student Rewards. That evening also features "High School Night," where Lowell and Dundee High School Wrestling Programs will compete before the main event against Indiana.
On Sunday, January 26, Michigan State celebrates "Women in Wrestling," acknowledging the growth of women's wrestling in Michigan during their meet against Nebraska.
February begins with a tribute on February 2 during their match against Clarion titled "Senior Celebration Presented By HAP." The event honors senior class members participating in this season's wrestling program.
Finally, on February 16 at noon when they face off against rival Michigan; all fans attending will receive green and white pom-poms as part of a giveaway promotion aimed at boosting team spirit among spectators.
