Baris makes history as first Spartan in NCAA singles final

Michigan State's men's tennis player, junior Ozan Baris, has achieved a significant milestone by becoming the first Spartan to reach the NCAA Individual Championships final. This historic accomplishment came after Baris won his semifinal match on Saturday against DK Suresh from Wake Forest.

The match was closely contested, with Baris securing victory in straight sets, 7-5, 7-6(5). Initially, Suresh had the upper hand in the first set, but Baris managed to regain control and clinch it 7-5. The second set was a fierce competition that led to a tie-breaker. Despite being down 1-4 at one point, Baris rallied with five consecutive points to win.
