Michigan State University's women's basketball team is set to face Detroit Mercy on November 20 at 6:30 p.m. in East Lansing, marking their final home game for the month. The Spartans have started the season strong with a 5-0 record under head coach Robyn Fralick. Meanwhile, Detroit Mercy has also shown promise, beginning their season with two victories.

The Spartans' lineup includes standout players such as junior forward Grace VanSlooten and graduate guard/forward Julia Ayrault, both of whom recently recorded double-doubles against Western Michigan. VanSlooten leads the team with an average of 16.8 points per game.

Detroit Mercy's Titans are led by Myonna Hooper, who averages 20 points per game. Head coach Kate Achter is in her third season with the Titans and brings experience from previous coaching roles at various universities.
