Michigan State and North Dakota set for Hall of Fame Game in Austin

Michigan State University and the University of North Dakota will face off in the 2026 U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame Game, scheduled for Saturday, October 31, 2026, in Austin, Texas. The game will take place at the H-E-B Center at Cedar Park, home to the AHL's Texas Stars.

North Dakota is set to host this anticipated event. Drew Hays, Director of the Austin Sports Commission, stated: "We look forward to welcoming two of the top collegiate hockey programs and some of the best hockey fans in the country to Austin." He added that it is a significant event for hockey enthusiasts and emphasized Austin as an ideal location for hosting.

MSU head coach Adam Nightingale expressed enthusiasm about participating in the game: "We are looking forward to playing in the Hall of Fame Game and our trip to Austin," he said. He described it as a promising matchup between two college hockey programs with a combined total of 11 NCAA National Championships.
