Michigan State University's men's golf team has announced the addition of two new players to its roster for the 2025-26 season. Head coach Casey Lubahn confirmed that Connor Fox and Luke Mueller will join the Spartans in the fall of 2025.

"We're really happy to welcome both of these young men to a young and exciting group of golfers in our program," said Lubahn. "Both Connor and Luke have had great experiences and results on the summer circuits and in high school, and we're looking forward to working with them during the next steps of their careers."

Connor Fox, from Lake Orion, Michigan, has an impressive record as a golfer. He was the state regional champion at Lake Orion in 2022 and has won multiple events in high school. He was also a nominee for the Michigan State High School Athletic Association Division I all-state team. Additionally, he won the Golf Association of Michigan junior invitational championship in 2021. His achievements include several top-10 finishes in American Junior Golf Association events and advancing to the second round of match play at the 2022 Michigan Amateur.

"Connor is an incredible athlete and has been well-coached during his junior career," Lubahn commented on Fox's signing. "As a multiple-sport competitor, we are expecting him to grow significantly in his golf game over the coming years."

Luke Mueller hails from Wake Forest, North Carolina, where he played at Leesville Road High School. During summer competitions, he maintained a three-year scoring average of 73.8 with a low round score of 67. He tied for fifth place at the CGA Junior Boys' Dogwood tournament and tied for 19th place at the NCHSAA men's 4A State Championship.

"Luke was born and raised a Spartan with his family having deep ties to our community," said Lubahn about Mueller's addition to the team. "He has built a fundamentally sound game... His desire to learn and grow means that he will leave no stone unturned in his search for greatness."

Both players are expected to bring talent and dedication as they join Michigan State's golf program next year.
