Michigan State faced a challenging matchup against top-ranked Kansas in the Champions Classic at State Farm Arena. The game was competitive for over 30 minutes, but Kansas ultimately secured a 77-69 victory.
Frankie Fidler, a senior forward for Michigan State, contributed 12 points and eight rebounds. Junior forward Jaxon Kohler also added 12 points and achieved his second consecutive double-double with 10 rebounds. Redshirt freshman guard Jeremy Fears Jr. finished the game with nine points, six assists, and three rebounds.
With this result, Michigan State's record stands at 2-1 overall, while Kansas remains undefeated at 3-0.
