Michigan State prepares to face Illinois after bye weekend

Michigan State head football coach Jonathan Smith conducted a press conference on Monday at the Spartan Stadium North End Zone Media Center. The focus was on the upcoming game against Illinois.

After having their second bye weekend, Michigan State, with a record of 4-5 overall and 2-4 in the Big Ten, will play against the Fighting Illini. Illinois currently holds a record of 6-3 overall and 3-3 in the Big Ten. The match is scheduled for Saturday, November 16, at Memorial Stadium. Kickoff is set for 2:30 p.m. Eastern Time/1:30 p.m. Central Time, and it will be broadcasted on FS1.
