Michigan State University faced a tough defeat against Indiana University on Saturday, with the Hoosiers securing a 47-10 victory at Spartan Stadium. The Spartans initially led in the first quarter but were unable to maintain their advantage as Indiana took control of the game.

Redshirt senior Montorie Foster Jr. also contributed with five catches for 35 yards. Sophomore quarterback Aidan Chiles completed 16 out of 24 passes for a total of 193 yards and one touchdown.
On defense, freshman Jaylen Thompson led with six tackles. Junior Nikai Martinez recorded five tackles, while redshirt senior Angelo Grose made four tackles, including one for loss. Freshman linebacker Brady Pretzlaff also had four stops.
In the scoring summary, Michigan State forced an early three-and-out against Indiana and then moved downfield to score a field goal by Jonathan Kim after an impressive catch by Marsh. Marsh later scored again with an 18-yard touchdown reception, giving the Spartans a brief lead of 10-0.
Indiana responded strongly in the second quarter with three touchdowns that brought them to a halftime lead of 21-10. Zach Horton started off Indiana's scoring with a touchdown catch followed by scores from Ty Son Lawton and Elijah Sarratt.
In the second half, Michigan State struggled as Indiana blocked a punt leading to a safety and subsequently extended their lead further with additional touchdowns and a field goal, ending the game at 47-10.
