Michigan State University's women's tennis team is set to host its second tournament of the fall season, the Spartan Invite. The event will take place from Friday to Sunday, November 1-3, at the MSU Indoor Tennis Center. Matches are scheduled to start at 9 a.m. each day.
The tournament will feature teams from Butler, DePaul, Eastern Michigan, Iowa, Northwestern, and Ohio State. Each school will send multiple players to compete in both singles and doubles rounds.
Nine out of ten Spartans are expected to participate in what marks their first full-team appearance this season. The competition will see over 40 players placed into a randomized compass bracket for singles matches. Doubles matches will follow a round-robin pod play format.
