MSU men's tennis competes at Louisville Classic

Michigan State University's men's tennis team is preparing to compete in the Louisville Classic tournament from October 23-25. Four players will represent MSU: freshmen Danial Rakhmatullayev and Mitchell Sheldon, junior David Saye, and senior Josh Portnoy.

The competition begins at 2 p.m. on Friday with singles matches only; no doubles matches are scheduled for this weekend. The tournament format includes one match on Friday, two on Saturday, and concludes with finals on Sunday.

Teams participating in the event include Kentucky, Louisville, Tennessee, and Michigan State. Following this tournament, the Spartans will divide to participate in three different tournaments across the country.

Looking ahead, the team's schedule features upcoming events such as the B1G Indoor Championships, ITA Conference Masters, and ITA Sectionals set for November 7-10.
