No. 4 Michigan State women's soccer team is set to continue its homestand with matches against Ole Miss and No. 15 Xavier at DeMartin Stadium in East Lansing, Michigan. The Spartans will face Ole Miss on Thursday, Aug. 29 at 7 p.m., followed by a match against Xavier on Sunday, Sept. 1 at 1 p.m. Both games will be available for streaming on B1G+.

The Spartans currently hold a record of 2-0-1 after last week's performances, which included a draw against then-No. 8 Arkansas and a win over Ohio. Key players Mackenzie Anthony and Bella Najera scored against the Razorbacks, while Meg Hughes contributed two goals against Ohio with Anthony adding another goal late in the game.

Michigan State's No. 4 ranking from the United Soccer Coaches is the highest in the program's history.

Ole Miss, led by second-year head coach Molly Rouse, has a season record of 2-1-0. Freshman Kayla Keefer leads their scoring efforts this year. This match marks the first-ever meeting between Michigan State and Ole Miss.

Xavier enters the match with an undefeated record of 4-0-0 under first-year head coach Dean Ward. Emma Flick and Olivia Lawson are top scorers for Xavier this season. The upcoming match will be their first encounter since 1992, with both teams having an even series history.

Following these games, Michigan State will conclude its non-conference schedule with home matches against Queens and Loyola Chicago on Sept. 5 and Sept. 8 respectively, both streaming on B1G+.
