Michigan State University's women's soccer team has unveiled its 2024 schedule. Head coach Jeff Hosler announced the details on Thursday, highlighting a challenging season ahead for the reigning Big Ten champions. The Spartans will play 18 regular-season games, including 12 at DeMartin Stadium, and face ten teams that participated in the 2023 NCAA Tournament.

"This will be the toughest schedule in our program's history," said Hosler. He emphasized the strength of both new conference members and a demanding non-conference lineup featuring three nationally ranked top-15 teams.

The Spartans start their season on August 15 with an away game against Notre Dame, continuing from last year's close match in East Lansing. A six-game home series follows, beginning with Arkansas on August 22. This stretch includes matches against Ohio, Ole Miss, Xavier, Queens, and concludes with Loyola Chicago on September 8.

Conference play kicks off with an away game against Maryland on September 12. Nebraska visits DeMartin Stadium on September 19 before MSU travels to face Penn State and Ohio State. Home games against Rutgers and rival Michigan are scheduled for late September and early October.

In October, the team travels to Oregon and Washington before concluding the regular season with home games against Wisconsin, Northwestern, and Purdue. The Big Ten Tournament starts on October 31 and ends with a championship match on November 10.

Details regarding television broadcasts and ticket sales will be provided later. MSU is incorporating 14 new players—10 freshmen and four transfers—while retaining 18 members from last year's squad that reached their first NCAA Sweet Sixteen.
