Michigan State University has announced the addition of Amelie Weber to its women's golf team for the 2024-25 season. Head coach Stacy Slobodnik-Stoll expressed enthusiasm about Weber joining the Spartans, stating, "We are very excited to welcome Amelie to Michigan State and to our program. She comes to East Lansing with two strong years of play at the D1 college level and has extensive experience on the international level while playing in Switzerland. We know Amelie will be a great addition to our team and we are very excited to welcome her to the Spartan Family."

Weber, originally from Switzerland, previously played for Georgia State for two seasons. During her time there, she was a two-year letterwinner with a scoring average of 74.75 over 36 rounds. Her achievements include two top-10 finishes last year and eight career top-25 finishes.

In the 2023-24 season, Weber participated in eight tournaments for Georgia State, achieving two top-10 finishes and five within the top-25. Notably, she shot an even-par 216 at the UNCG Intercollegiate, securing sixth place in October, and tied for ninth place at the Mercer Invitational with a score of 2-over par 218.

Throughout her tenure at Georgia State, Weber led her team with a scoring average of 73.86 over 22 rounds, including eight rounds below par. Her first-round scoring average was 74.40 while her final-round average stood at 73.00.

Academically accomplished as well, Weber made it onto the Dean's List in 2022 and earned spots on both the President's List (Fall 2023 and Spring 2023) and Athletic Director's Honor Roll (Spring 2024).

Internationally experienced, Weber placed second in Switzerland's Women's Swiss Open Championship during the 2021-22 season. She also won titles such as Swiss Junior Championship for U18 Girls and Swiss Golf East title while placing second at the Swiss National Championship. Additionally, she was part of Switzerland’s national teams competing internationally.
