The 2006-07 Michigan State Hockey Team, under the guidance of Head Coach Rick Comley, achieved significant success by securing the NCAA Championship. The team finished the season with an overall record of 26-13-3 and a conference record of 15-10-3 in the Central Collegiate Hockey Association (CCHA), placing fourth in the league.

The roster included notable players such as Bryan Lerg, Justin Abdelkader, and Jeff Lerg, contributing to their impressive performance throughout the season. The team's journey was marked by key victories against strong opponents like Boston University and Notre Dame during the NCAA Midwest Regional at Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
