Two of Michigan State University's baseball games against Nebraska this weekend have been rescheduled to accommodate national television coverage. The Big Ten Conference announced that Friday and Saturday's games will be aired on the Big Ten Network.
The series begins on Thursday, May 16 at 6:05 p.m. ET. The second game, initially scheduled for Friday, May 17, will now start at 5 p.m. ET. The final game of the series and MSU's regular-season finale is set for Saturday, May 18 at noon.
Saturday will also feature a pre-game ceremony honoring MSU's senior players and managers as part of Senior Day celebrations. Fans are encouraged to arrive early to participate in the event.
Friday marks MSU's "517 Night," which celebrates the Lansing community by connecting local non-profits, organizations, and businesses with fans. An exclusive Spartan Baseball sticker will be distributed while supplies last.
Additionally, organ donor awareness will be highlighted on Friday in recognition of MSU assistant coach Mark Van Ameyde and Team Impact Kid Andrew. Van Ameyde underwent a kidney transplant on March 20 and returned to the team on April 27. Andrew received a heart transplant in December and joined the Spartans during their Purdue series in West Lafayette.
Throughout the weekend, Spartan Baseball expresses gratitude to its supporters with Fan Appreciation Weekend events.
