Michigan State University senior golfer Brooke Biermann has been named the Big Ten Golfer of the Week. This recognition comes after her performance at the Tar Heel Invitational, where she helped the Spartans secure a tie for second place. The event took place at Finley Golf Course in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.

The Michigan State team completed the tournament with a 19-over par score of 859 (286-283-290), finishing tied for second among 17 teams. Biermann contributed significantly with an even-par 70 in the final round, tying for 11th place individually at 5-over par 215 (71-74-70).

Biermann has consistently led her team this season, being the top finisher in all three events and maintaining a scoring average of 71.11. This week's accolade marks her second Big Ten Golfer of the Week honor this season and the fifth in her collegiate career.

The Spartans will conclude their Fall season at the Landfall Tradition from October 25 to October 27 at the Country Club of Landfall in Wilmington, North Carolina.
