Jesse McCulloch, a freshman forward for Michigan State's basketball team, stands at 6 feet 10 inches and weighs 240 pounds. Hailing from Cleveland, Ohio, McCulloch attended Lutheran East High School before joining the Spartans.

Reflecting on his life beyond basketball, McCulloch shared that he would likely pursue coaching if not playing the sport. "My dad coached me, and I really look up to him," he stated.

McCulloch chose Michigan State due to its welcoming atmosphere. "I chose Michigan State because of how nice and family-oriented this place is. Everything here is so connected," he explained.

For newcomers to the team, McCulloch offers candid advice: "It's not easy, but it's definitely the best for you. It's going to get you right — mentally right, physically right."

When asked about other positions or sports he'd consider playing, McCulloch expressed interest in being a guard or playing football as a tight end or defensive end due to its physical nature.

Instagram is his preferred social media platform because it allows him to stay connected with people from home. His favorite accounts are various MSU pages.

Given the chance to dine with anyone, living or deceased, McCulloch would choose LeBron James, his grandfather whom he never met, and Aaron Rodgers.

Aside from basketball, McCulloch follows Michigan State football closely since his cousin Montorie Foster plays on the team.

Gospel music sets the tone for him before games as it fills his headphones in the locker room. His dream vacation destination is Dubai.

Playing Big Ten basketball brings significant exposure for McCulloch. "The exposure and being on national TV... I have the whole city rooting for me," he said.

He describes Coach Izzo as enthusiastic and focused on details while summarizing a Michigan State player in one word: tough.

In a hypothetical movie about his life, Del Monroe would portray him. An interesting fact about McCulloch is that he is a three-time state champion.
