Michigan State men's tennis concluded its participation in the USTA 15K Fayetteville Futures on Friday in Fayetteville, Arkansas.

Senior Max Sheldon began the tournament with a win in qualifying, which advanced him to the first round against Timo Legout of Texas. Despite a strong effort, Sheldon was defeated with scores of 4-6, 2-6.

Junior David Saye started his week successfully by defeating Brendan Boland 6-3, 6-1 and advancing to the second round where he overcame Ishaan Ravichander with the same scoreline. However, Saye's run ended after a challenging match resulted in a loss of 0-6, 4-6.

In doubles competition, Saye and Sheldon teamed up against Timo Legout and Issac Becroft. Despite an energetic start, they were unable to secure a victory, losing 3-6, 4-6.

Sophomore Taym Alazmeh faced Christopher Bulus in the first round and was defeated 4-6, 3-6. Alazmeh then partnered with Vanderbilt's Danil Panarin for doubles matches. They won their first-round match against Dong and Chopra with scores of 6-4, 6-1. In the next round, Alazmeh and Panarin defeated Bulus and Valiev in a closely contested match that ended 7-6, 6-4 before their run concluded in the semifinals.

The three Spartans will join freshman Matt Forbes and juniors Ozan Baris and Aristotelis Thanos at the ITA All-American tournament in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
