Michigan State men's tennis opens fall action this weekend, with Spartan players participating in different tournaments across the country.

Several members of the MSU team will head to San Francisco, California, for the Battle in the Bay tournament from September 12-15. Others will travel to Louisville, Kentucky, for the Louisville Invite.

Three members of the Michigan State men's tennis team—junior Ozan Baris and freshmen Matthew Forbes and Danial Rakhmatullayev—will compete in San Francisco. This marks the second year that the team has sent players to this tournament, including Baris, who is the 2023 Battle in the Bay Men's Singles Champion.

After a productive summer, Forbes is eager to continue his competitive streak at his first tournament with MSU.

The Spartans aim to defend their title as 2023 Battle in the Bay Champions during this weekend's tournament.

Freshman Mitchell Sheldon will participate in the Louisville Invite. Sheldon looks forward to starting his tenure at MSU with a trip to Louisville.

Additional action is scheduled for three Spartans: sophomore Taym Alazmeh, junior David Saye, and senior Max Sheldon. They will travel to Fayetteville, Arkansas, to compete in the ITF USTA 15K Fayetteville Futures from September 16-19.
