Michigan State baseball head coach Jake Boss Jr. and the Spartan staff will host two camps this fall for high school players.

The first camp is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 21, while the second will take place on Sunday, Oct. 6. Both events will be held at McLane Baseball Stadium and the MSU weight room in Jenison Field House.

The camps will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., with check-in starting at 8:45 a.m.

According to Michigan State's announcement, "The MSU Baseball prospect camp is designed to allow each player the opportunity to showcase their entire skill set while being evaluated by the entire Michigan State coaching staff in every aspect." The camp will be divided into morning and afternoon sessions. The morning session will include a pro-style workout where prospects will be evaluated on running the 60-yard dash, fielding, throwing, and hitting. There will also be a positional breakdown session featuring individual instruction by coaches and current MSU Baseball players.

After lunch, the afternoon session will focus on playing games, hitting drills, and an introduction to MSU's strength and conditioning program. In addition to the Michigan State coaching staff, several other college coaches are expected to attend to evaluate players.

Camp participants are required to bring all necessary baseball equipment including hat, helmet, bat, glove, baseball pants, cleats & turf shoes.
