Michigan State's women's golf team has secured a notable position in the national rankings for the second consecutive year, earning the Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) All-Scholar Team Award. The Spartans achieved a cumulative grade-point average of 3.874, placing them sixth among all Division I schools.
This marks the second year in a row that Michigan State University (MSU) has been listed among the top-25 teams, having ranked third in the 2022-23 academic year. MSU was one of only four schools to rank within the top-25 for GPA while also advancing to the NCAA Championships, alongside Oregon State, San Jose State, and Vanderbilt.
The women's golf program at MSU continues to excel both academically and athletically. It won the Athletic Director's Award at the Academic Awards Gala in May for an unprecedented 11th time, more than any other women's team at MSU. Additionally, this year's cumulative team GPA of 3.874 is a record high for MSU's Athletic Department, surpassing last year's mark of 3.858.
