Capital Area Recycling and Trash to Implement a New Payment Vendor

LANSING, MI – Capital Area Trash and Recycling (CART) announces that as of today, February 22, 2024, online payments will now be made through a new vendor, “PayIt,” which will take the place of the previous platform, “Point and Pay.

”This switch is part of the City of Lansing’s transition to one consolidated payment system for all services to help with ease and convenience for customers.Customers using online payment methods will not need to unsubscribe from Point and Pay, as they will no longer charge accounts, but will need to sign up for PayIt in order to continue trash service and pay their bill. To create an account and get started, please visit: lansingmi.payitgov.com/.Autopay will be available soon but is currently unavailable with PayIt due to prolonged testing periods. Updates will be provided on the status of this as information becomes available.
