CART Collections to be Delayed by One Day in Observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day

The City of Lansing Public Service Department announces that in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, CART collections, including trash and recycling, will be delayed by one day starting on Monday, January 15, 2024.

For example, collection will be on Tuesday, January 16, for residents whose collection day is regularly on Monday.

Collection will be on Wednesday, January 17, for residents whose collection day is regularly on Tuesday, and so forth.

The regular collection schedule will resume on Monday, January 22, 2024.

Residents contracting with private trash haulers are encouraged to check with their collection companies for possible scheduling changes.

The CART office, along with City Hall and other City buildings, will also be closed on Monday, January 15, 2024.
