The City of Lansing Public Service Department announces that in observance of Christmas, CART collections, including trash and recycling, will be delayed by one day starting on Monday, December 25, 2023.
For example, collection will be on Tuesday, December 26, 2023, for residents whose collection day is regularly on Monday.
Collection will be on Wednesday, December 27, 2023, for residents whose collection day is regularly on Tuesday, and so forth.
Regular collection will resume the week of January 8, 2023.

Residents contracting with private trash haulers are encouraged to check with their collection companies for possible scheduling changes.

The CART office, along with City Hall and other City buildings, will also be closed on Monday, December 25, 2023, and Tuesday, December 26, 2023.
