Census Bureau: 77.7% of people in Clinton County were old enough to vote in 2021

Of the 78,895 citizens living in Clinton County in 2021, 77.7% were old enough to vote, equating to 61,264 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 30,242 were male, constituting 49.4%, and 31,022 were female, making up 50.6%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Clinton County during 2021 was lower than the state average, which stands at 78.2%.
