The Black History 101 Mobile Museum will be returning to the ELPL - East Lansing Public Library, 950 Abbot Road, on Monday, Jan. 30.

Founded by Dr. Khalid el-Hakim (pictured), the Black History 101 Mobile Museum is an award winning collection of over 10,000 original artifacts of Black memorabilia dating from the trans-Atlantic slave trade era to hip-hop culture. 

The museum will be open to the public from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. next Monday and there will also be a talk, "Hip Hop at 50" (its the 50th anniversary of hip-hop culture), with Dr. el-Hakim at noon. More info: https://elpl.bibliocommons.com/.../63b5bcd92728c53700dfe724.
