Yesterday, the Ingham County Clerk’s Office conducted a post-election procedural audit for Precinct 6 within the City of #EastLansing for the November 8, 2022 General Election.

This public audit included a hand count of the ballots for the governor race. Precinct 6 was randomly selected by the Michigan Bureau of Elections for part of the audit process that is currently taking place across the state. The results of the audit were successful.

“I am not surprised by the successful results that this extensive audit shows, as it reiterates the accuracy and security of the elections conducted in East Lansing,” East Lansing City Clerk Jennifer Shuster said. “It is also reflective of the detailed and dedicated work by the team in the Clerk’s Office and our election workers.”
