Never send anyone money who promises you a bigger return on your "investment".
Recently, a Detroiter was taken advantage of by a suspect who was posing as a notable pastor on Facebook.
The suspect told the victim to send a small amount of money to get a grant payment of a large sum in return.
The suspect was not who he appeared to be, and the grant program was not real.
