Today is #NationalPollWorkerRecruitmentDay! To acknowledge this, the #EastLansing City Clerk’s Office is kicking off its recruitment efforts for poll workers (or election inspectors) to serve during the November 8, 2022 State General Election.
By signing up to work at a polling location on Election Day, you play a critical role in ensuring voters receive the assistance they need at the polls and help provide a smooth and secure experience for all. Election inspectors must be registered to vote in the state of Michigan or a student, ages 16-17. East Lansing election inspectors do not need to be a registered voter in East Lansing.
