Meridian Township officials have issued a boil water advisory through at least 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 25 for some East Lansing Meridian Water and Sewer Authority (ELMWSA) customers.
While the advisory impacts several properties in Meridian Township, it only impacts three properties in the City of #EastLansing. These properties include Burcham Hills and two residential homes south of Burcham Hills off Park Lake Road. These properties have been contacted directly to be advised of the boil water advisory.
ELMWSA customers should note that they could have an East Lansing address, but still be a resident of Meridian Township. Customers who pay their water and sewer bills to Meridian Township are Meridian Township residents and they could be impacted by this boil water advisory.
The boil water advisory is a precautionary measure following a water supply main break discovered this morning at the northwest corner of Haslett Road and Park Lake Road.
