The City of #EastLansing's annual #ArborDay tree planting took place today with students from Robert L. Green Elementary School. Environmental Stewardship Coordinator Heather Majano and Environmental Specialist Cliff Walls were on hand to teach the students about the history of Arbor Day and the importance of trees in the community. Special thanks to Van Atta's Greenhouse and Flower Shop for donating the tree that was planted!
This is the 35th year that East Lansing has been recognized as a #TreeCityUSA by the Arbor Day Foundation.
