Hurricanematthewfromnasa1000x667

City of Mason recently issued the following announcement.

On February 17, 2022, due to a large amount of rainfall combined with higher than normal temperatures leading to large amounts of snow melt, the City of Mason’s Waste Water Treatment Plant is current experiencing flooding conditions. Because of high flows, combined with a primary tank overflow, a limited amount of partially treated wastewater overflowed the primary tank.

We are currently bypassing to the Sycamore Creek and will keep citizens updated on conditions.
