CHS Athletic Hall of Fame Nominations Requested

N

Charlotte Public Schools issued the following announcement on Jan 27.

Any individual from the community can nominate any individual or team that they believe is deserving of Hall of Fame recognition

The Charlotte High School Athletic Hall of Fame is actively soliciting nominations for the upcoming Class of 2022. There are four categories in which nominations can be made: Coach, Member of the Community that has contributed to CHS athletics, Team and Athlete.

Any individual from the community can nominate any individual or team that they believe is deserving of Hall of Fame recognition. This can be done by completing the necessary form in one of two ways. One is by going directly to the Athletic Department at Charlotte High School and picking up a nomination form. The other is by completing the form online. To do this, simply fill out the CPS Athletic Hall of Fame Nomination Form.

All forms are due by March 15, 2022. Once a form has been received it will be placed in the file with other nominations that have been received. Once an individual or team has been nominated their information remains on file in the Athletic Office. There is no need to complete a second form if one has already been received.

The Hall of Fame committee will review all nomination forms and make their selections. The inductees for the Class of 2022 will be announced at the annual Charlotte Athletic Boosters Raffle and Dinner on May 7, 2022. The induction ceremony will take place the weekend of September 23, 2022, with the presentation of the class at the football game on Friday, September 23rd. The formal induction ceremony will take place on Saturday, September 24th in the Charlotte Performing Arts Center.
