County of Clinton issued the following announcement on Jan 25.
Compact fluorescent lightbulb (CFL) contain mercury and should not be thrown into household trash. There are locations throughout the county that will dispose of CFLs, use the waste wizard to find those locations. #ClintonCountyRecycles
