Charlotte Public Schools issued the following announcement on Nov 19.
The CHS choir program work to instill habits of strong musicianship and confidence
The Charlotte High School Choirs have had a fantastic start to the 2021-22 school year. After a very successful first concert, they have been hard at work preparing for their upcoming December 7th Holiday Concert.
The choir program has been working to instill habits of strong musicianship and confidence, to remember why we choose to make music a part of our lives, and to reconstruct the tight-knit relationships that have been damaged by the impact of the pandemic. The best music is created when members of an ensemble not only care deeply about the music, but also care deeply about each other. The Charlotte Choirs are looking forward to a successful Holiday Concert and a fabulous school year.
In addition to the work students are doing in the classroom, several choir members performed in the CHS Musical “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown” this past weekend, and we congratulate them on their hard work and fantastic performances.
