City of East Lansing Offices to be Closed Nov. 25-26 in Observance of Thanksgiving

City of East Lansing issued the following announcement on Nov 18.

City of East Lansing offices will be closed Thursday, Nov. 25 and Friday, Nov. 26 in observance of Thanksgiving.

City offices closed Nov. 25-26 will include East Lansing City Hall, the East Lansing Department of Public Works, the East Lansing 54B District Court, the East Lansing Public Library (ELPL), the East Lansing Hannah Community Center (ELHCC) and East Lansing Prime Time.

In addition to being closed Nov. 25-26, ELHCC and ELPL will have the following adjusted hours for the holiday:

ELHCC will be open on Wednesday, Nov. 24 from 6 a.m.-6 p.m. and will be closed Nov. 27-28 in addition to the closure dates listed above. ELHCC will resume normal hours on Monday, Nov. 29.
ELPL will close early on Wednesday, Nov. 24 at 6 p.m. The library will resume normal hours on Saturday, Nov. 27.

There will be no refuse and recycling collection on Thursday, Nov. 25. Thursday’s and Friday’s refuse and recycling will be collected on Friday, Nov. 26.
