City of East Lansing issued the following announcement on Oct 2.
Happy first day of October, everyone! #EastLansing residents are encouraged to mark their calendars for upcoming no-fee yard waste and fall bulk leaf collection days in the City of East Lansing!
No-fee curbside yard waste collection will be offered on the east side of the City (homes east of Abbot Road) on Oct. 11 and Oct. 25 and on the west side of the City (homes west of Abbot Road) on Oct. 18 and Nov. 1. Fall bulk leaf collection will be offered on the east side of the City on Oct. 18, Nov. 1 and Nov. 15 and on the west side of the City on Oct. 11, Oct. 25 and Nov. 8.
