County of Clinton issued the following announcement on Sept 23.
We thank all of our residents who use our battery recycling program but remind you to please keep contamination out of the buckets. They are sorted by hand and any contamination poses a health risk to our staff. So please only put household batteries, cell phones, & ink cartridges in the buckets.
